bossy
adjective ˈbȯ-sē, ˈbä-
Definition of BOSSY
In the US, a new campaign to avoid tags for little girls started recently. The girls’ sense of leadership, courage or ambition are often mistaken by stubbornness or pushiness. But the boys are encouraged to speak up and be leaders.
It happens here, in Romania too. It’s very hard to be able to express yourself and what you think in this patriarchal society, where the woman should shut up and listen.
